Uploading the Wage Protection file in Mudad: steps and what to check

What is the Wage Protection programme?

It is a programme for uploading employee wage data and monitoring compliance and violations. The Ministry notes that it targets private-sector establishments, and that access and file uploads take place through the Mudad platform.

Before uploading the file

• •Match employee names and ID numbers against the company's records.
• •Confirm that bank transfers for the period are complete.
• •Review the agreed wage and any approved adjustments.
• •Separate out any differences that need a supporting document or explanation.

Upload steps

• •Log in to Mudad.
• •Select the establishment linked to the user.
• •Go to file uploads.
• •Choose to upload a new file and submit the processed bank file.
• •Review the file report after processing.

If a violation appears

Do not send a generic justification. Go back to the cause of the difference, attach supporting evidence, and follow up on the employee's response; the Ministry explains that the employee can accept or reject the justification, and the compliance rate is updated according to the outcome.
